You’ve applied. Now what? Well, now we work together to determine if Save-A-Lot is the place for you.

If your resume meets our criteria, we’ll start by scheduling a phone interview. From there, our application process gets pretty intensive. We strongly believe you should meet with not only your potential boss, but your boss’s boss! It may take a little longer, but it’s worth it.

One of the many things that make Save-A-Lot unique is that our retail leadership is involved in every hire we make—from interns to business unit directors. It’s a philosophy that strengthens our team because it ensures that everyone here should be here.

You can expect a multi-tiered process, including a panel interview of your peers and/or hiring managers. You can also expect a drug screening, a background check, a store walk-through and other evaluations that help us get to know each other.
